Multiplicity Shooting Assignment
For this shooting assignment, I was required to take multiple photos of myself without moving the position of my phone or anything around me. I first slightly edited my best four photos so that the lighting and colouring wasn't as different from each other and I then continued by masking each photo together. While masking, I had to make sure each photo align perfectly with the base photo and that only I was masked onto the base photo and not anything else so that nothing looks uneven due to slight difference in lighting.
My idea of this photo was to display the topic of hesitation. The multiple pictures of myself behind me represented the multiple versions of my own self doubt and worries. The creation of hesitation comes from within ourselves but acts as a separate being that feels out of our control and outside of our wants and goals. It's something we can't see, but feels as if our own self is physically holding us back from what we need to do. I believe in the saying that "you are your worst enemy," and I feel the picture I've created shows just that from the multiple versions of myself looking at my main self sitting in a chair as if to show the judgment onto me from my own self. Even though hesitation is often caused by the worries of potential negative thought of others, the root of the cause is our mind in a constant state of anxiety which creates a conflict of clashing thoughts while the body usually remains still and helpless in its place. During this time it's hard to take control of what's going on in your head and to move your body or speak to complete the task you set up before hand in your head, which comes down to how the only one stopping you is yourself.

Tropical Poster
When picking a main photo for the poster, I looked for a more appealing photo that included more than a tropical background but was simple at the same time. I added a pink tint to the image to add a calming vibe to the picture and then created a clipping mask of an image of slowly moving water onto a title to give it some detail that involved the idea of tropical scenes. I then edited the title by adding an inner shadow and lining it up with the middle of the image and slightly up. Next, I selected a logo that would fit well with the colours and stand out at the same time without taking away from the main focus of the picture. I then removed the white background using the quick selection tool and then saved the image as a PNG then added it my poster to the bottom right, which was an empty space so that the image was more equalled out.
